A Gastronome’s Eden: Okanagan Valley, British Columbia

It was that elusive temperature—almost warm, almost cool. The rocky hills were dry and bristled by pines. Air, delicate. Warblers unloosed their evensong. We sat on the deck of our high-ceiled rental home with elegant vertical lines overlooking Okanagan Lake, sipping cider.
