An hour before low tide, rubber-booted and bundled against the chill, we launched from the Netarts Bay dock headed for JAndy Oyster Company’s fifty-acre oyster farm, a parcel of squidgy mud, now above the waves…but sometimes not, depending on the yank of the moon.
