Foraging for Fungi

You can forage for keys in a pocket. You can forage for socks in a drawer. And you can forage for mushrooms in a forest, with one difference. Whereas the wrong key or sock is unlikely to massively short-circuit critical organs, eating the wrong mushroom will. So I pay close attention as my foraging guige, Matt Nevitt of Wild Foragers, points out that what looks like a chantrelle is actually one of several poisonous “false chantrelles.”
